Pierre and his brother Jean opened their countryside restaurant in Roanne after apprenticing with the best chefs in Paris; in 1955, they won a Michelin star, and by 1968, they had won their third. Pierre's son, Michel, is currently at the helm of Maison Troisgros. Chipping to jacket spine ends and a bit to jacket extremities, else very good.
